Wine With Soul
Meet Amanda Gorter, Paso Verde's Winemaker.
Amanda created Paso Verde as part of an initiative to reintroduce classically popular wines from around the world in a uniquely Paso style.
Her inspiration for Paso Verde came from a casual lunch with fellow winemakers, who asked, “why isn’t there a local, light bodied wine?”. From there, Amanda created Paso Verde.
Usually, low alcohol wines can be simple, and uninteresting. To combat this, she blended four unique, early ripening white grape varietals to create a complex wine with a hint of effervescence.
